Where Cura have his stage-animal presence (19th October 1998 in Vienna with Baltsa), is Carreras nobility himself (25th October 1998 in Zurich with Baltsa).

Herodiade (Jules Massenet)

On Sept 19th and 22nd 2003 I saw Cura and Baltsa together in this opera. It was great!!! Unfortunately I have never seen it with Baltsa & Carreras together, but in 1995 I saw Carreras as Jean, and in 2000 Baltsa as Herodiade for the first time. I loved it both times.
